USGA lost the course at Shinnecock Hills

Brooks Koepka is the first back-to-back winner of the US Open since 1988-89 when Curtis Strange was able to pull off the rare double.

However, the 2018 US Open may not be remembered for Koepka’s impressive performance but rather the side show that became Shinnecock Hills which included Phil Mickelson putting a moving ball and an impossible course set up.

The players were very vocal about their disdain for the course and this week on Golf Talk Canada, Mark Zecchino and Bob Weeks didn’t hold back in their criticism of Mike Davis and the USGA.
