Behind the scenes with a golf commentator

There has always been a public fascination with golf commentators.

Some people like to poke fun at them for whispering while others marvel at their poetic approach to capturing those special moments in golf.

We all remember the great Verne Lundquist’s call on Tiger Woods chip in at the 2005 Masters, “In your life have you seen anything like that!?!?!”

Mark Zecchino is the host of Golf Talk Canada on TSN but he is also one of the play-by-play commentators for PGA Radio on Sirius/XM. Zecchino was at Glen Abbey last week calling the 2017 RBC Canadian Open.

Here is a behind the scenes look with Zecchino at the Canadian Open:

 

Golf Professional who has worked in the golf industry for over 25 years. Formerly representing Augusta National and The Masters Broadcast in Canada behind the camera lens for 11 years, in 2010 he launched Canada’s only National Golf Talk Program (Golf Talk Canada).
