Graham DeLaet has been out of action for several months due to a lingering back issue and he has just announced that he requires another back surgery which will force him to miss significant time on the course and could put his career in jeopardy.
DeLaet announced via his Twitter account that his latest surgery requires a recovery time of six to 12 months.
DeLaet was having an excellent 2017-18 season on the PGA Tour prior to his injury troubles. He finished T5 at the Safeway Open at the beginning of this season and had six Top 10 finishes during the 2017 season which included a T7 at the PGA Championship.
Golf Talk Canada’s Bob Weeks went one-on-one with DeLaet at his Graham Slam charity event just a few weeks ago where DeLaet explained what was happening with his back issue.
