DeLaet was having an excellent 2017-18 season on the PGA Tour prior to his injury troubles. He finished T5 at the Safeway Open at the beginning of this season and had six Top 10 finishes during the 2017 season which included a T7 at the PGA Championship.
Golf Talk Canada’s Bob Weeks went one-on-one with DeLaet at his Graham Slam charity event just a few weeks ago where DeLaet explained what was happening with his back issue.
