Nick Taylor’s final round 63 vaults him into FedEx Cup playoffs
It was do or die for several Canadians who were looking to catapult themselves into the top 125 of the FedEx Cup standings heading into the final weekend of play on the PGA Tour.
The likes of Corey Conners, David Hearn, Ben Silverman and Mackenzie Hughes were all looking for a strong finish at the Wyndham Championship in order to move up a few spots and qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs.
However, only Nick Taylor was able to consistently play well all weekend which included a final round 63 that vaulted him up to No. 119 in the FedEx Cup standings. The strong finish by Taylor allowed him to qualify for the playoffs which start this week in New Jersey at the Northern Trust.
