2018 in review: Bonehead moment of the year – Phil Mickelson at the US Open
The past three episode’s of Golf Talk Canada on TSN radio have been a look back at some of the best and worst moments of 2018.
The high notes of course included the likes of Tiger Woods triumphant return to form and his eventual win at the Tour Championship to cap off the PGA season as well as Brooke Henderson’s win on home soil at the CP Women’s Open.
However, one of the low points of the year was Phil Mickelson double hitting the ball on the green at the US Open at Shinnecock Hills.
Phil Mickelson ran after a still moving putt and hit the ball back towards the hole during his third round of the US Open on Saturday https://t.co/yWQ0Jwi60B pic.twitter.com/dM4rn5ebN6
