Stage is set for Koepka coronation

The stage has been set for the coronation of Brooks Koepka at the Tour Championship at East Lake in Atlanta, GA.

Koepka will start the final round of the Tour Championship with a one-shot lead over Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele. Koepka is currently at 15-under par after posting scores of 67-67-68 in the first three rounds of play.

Under the new FedEx Cup scoring system, Koepka entered the Tour Championship at 7-under par behind Patrick Cantlay at 8-under and Justin Thomas at 10-under.

Koepka entered the PGA finale as the No.1 player in the official world golf rankings after an outstanding 2018-19 season where he is a shoo-in to be named Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.

He’s already won three times this year including the WGC-FedEx St. Jude, CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges and the PGA Championship as well as three second-place finishes including The Masters, US Open and Honda Classic.

With $15 million on the line today for the winner and a one-shot lead in hand, Koepka can claim his crown as the undisputed worlds greatest player.
